Jamie Moenster, D.O., F.A.C.O.S., F.A.C.S
Board Certified Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgeon
Dr. Jamie Moenster believes that each plastic surgery patient has distinctive needs, wants, and desires. By taking the necessary time to listen to you in your consultation, she will tailor an individualized, personal treatment or surgical plan to help meet your aesthetic goals. She focuses on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast and body including breast reconstruction and body contouring.
A native of Missouri, Dr. Moenster graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. She then completed five years of residency in general surgery and two years of fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at South Pointe Hospital/Cleveland Clinic Health Systems in Cleveland, Ohio. She served as the chief resident in both general and plastic surgery. Dr. Moenster is dual Board Certified in Plastic, Reconstructive and General Surgery by the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Board of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Moenster earned the title Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgery (FACOS) in 2012. The FACOS designation is granted for demonstrating commitment to the practice of surgery, surgical teaching, authorship of professional papers/posters, and participation in local, state, and national organizations. Dr. Moenster earned the title of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. The FACS designation is granted for demonstrating ethical fitness and professional proficiency. She has been recognized for her research in breast reconstruction at the national and state level. She received the Resident Achievement Award by the ACOS in 2010. She was awarded the CORE/OUCOM Resident of the Year and Skills Lab Instructor of the Year.
She is on staff at Northwest Medical Center, Canyon Vista Hospital, Northwest Tucson Surgery Center, and St. Mary’s Carondelet.
In her free time she enjoys cooking, working out, and traveling with her husband, Dr. Chris Weyer (Dermatologist/Mohs surgeon), a native of southern Arizona.
Christopher Weyer, D.O., F.A.O.C.D, F.A.C.M.S., F.A.A.D
Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship Trained Mohs Surgeon
A native to Arizona, Dr. Christopher Weyer received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona. He then worked at the Arizona Cancer Center and in Department of Pathology under the direction of Dr. Ray Nagle. While there he researched the growth, invasion and metastasis of prostate cancer before his acceptance to medical school.
Dr. Weyer graduated from the founding Osteopathic medical school, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. He then completed a traditional rotating internship at Richmond Heights Hospital in Ohio, followed by a dermatology residency in Kirksville, Missouri at Northeast Regional Medical Center. He continued his training with a fellowship in Mohs Surgery at the Center for Surgical Dermatology in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Weyer was employed by the world famous Cleveland Clinic in the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Institute as a Mohs surgeon from 2011-2012 before returning to his native home of Arizona to provide quality skin cancer care.
He is the distinguished winner of the Tromovitch Award from the American College of Mohs Surgery in 2012. This award is given to the graduating fellow with the most significant contribution to research in skin cancer/Mohs surgery.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fishing, and hunting. He maintains an active lifestyle with CrossFit and soccer. He also enjoys cooking and travel.
Eduardo Montes, DPM
Board Certified: American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons
Dr. Eduardo Montes obtained his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 1998. He then completed his Primary Podiatric Residency at Cedars Medical Center in Miami, Florida in 2000. Dr. Montes completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He then obtained his Board Certification from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in 2007.
Dr. Montes has been helping people in the Sierra Vista area for the last 18 years. The core of Dr. Montes’s practice has always been a primary concern for the health and well-being of his patients. His goal is to give excellent treatment to every patient with foot and ankle ailments and maintain healthy feet.
When Dr. Montes does have time away from his practice, he enjoys spending it with his family. He is an avid golfer and is a fan of all sports. He also enjoys music of every genre. Dr. Montes has a son Edward who lives in Miami.
Ladislav Kuchar, DPM, MS, FACFAS
Board Certified: American Board of Podiatric Surgeons
Dr. Kuchár obtained his doctorate degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Miami Shores, FL in 2003 where he graduated with honors. He completed his residency training in one of the foremost Podiatric residency programs in the country – St John North Shores Hospital in Harrison Township, MI. Prior to attending the podiatric school he also attended the allopathic School of Medicine at the PJ Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia. Dr. Kuchar has special interest in Foot and Ankle surgery.
Dr. Kuchár is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS).
Sarah Otero Quintero, DPM, MS
Double-Board Certified: American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM)
Dr. Otero obtained her doctorate degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Miami Shores, FL in 2004. She also holds Master Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the same university.
She completed a 3 years podiatric medicine and surgery residency at St. John North Shores Hospital in Harrison Township, Michigan. Dr. Otero has extensive research experience, she has worked at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD and has coauthored many scientific papers. She has a special interest in treatment of fractures, bone infections, diabetics and ulcer care.
Thomas A. Coury II, D.O.
Board Certified: American Board of Physician Medicine & Rehabilitation
Dr. Coury was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. He went to college at the University of San Diego, graduating with honors and a B.S. in Biology. He studied osteopathic medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. His residency was at the University of Kentucky in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He then did a fellowship in interventional physiatry in Scottsdale, Arizona. He started Desert Sky Spine and Sports Medicine in 2010. His goal is not just managing pain, but focusing on patients’ functional capabilities. He finds joy in returning patients to their work, play, and family life. In his free time, Dr. Coury enjoys flying, participating in endurance sports, and spending time with his family.
